Byaheng Langit

Marcos Highway, Baguio City (en route to Manila)
The shortest bus ride ever lasted 6.5 hours -- that's Manila to Baguio via Victory Liner. Arrived at the Pasay station at past 12AM, got a 1AM ticket, was at the Baguio City terminal before 7:30AM.

Sometimes, the bus ride lasts over 7 hours, depending upon the traffic situations at various points during the trip.

It's never boring, though. Never for me.

As long as there are no inconsiderate, annoying passengers on-board, I'd always find these long road trips therapeutic. Nevermind the occasional spine and butt discomfort. A few minutes of stretching exercises can do wonders.

My thoughts go back and forth in a swirly, messed up motion. But my body is carried forward to a definite destination. Songs become more meaningful. Answers come in crystals. A certain resolution is achieved along the way. The journey is always good for me.
